Apparently, Prime Video has become the streaming platform for game adaptations. After the success of Fallout and the announcement of series for Tomb Raider, Yakuza and an anthology of famous industry franchises called Secret Levelnow Amazon knows what the company's next big project will be: a film of The Sims.
That's right, Electronic Arts revealed on Tuesday (17) that it is working on the film The Sims in collaboration with Amazon MGM Studios. The film is to celebrate the franchise's 25th anniversary and will be produced by LuckyChap Entertainment, a company founded by actress Margot Robbie, which produced the most recent film in the series. Barbieand will be directed by Kate Herron, responsible for the series Loki not Disney+.
