After the launch of the Galaxy M55 earlier this year, Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy M55s in India soon. The new smartphone appears to be a variant of the standard M55 with some design differences, but it is not yet known whether the model will be exclusive to the country or will be launched in the global market.
The Galaxy M55s has been spotted on a Samsung India support page, essentially confirming the model. Before that, Smartprix had leaked a render of the smartphone that shows the visual changes, ditching the all-glossy back for a casing with different cutouts and textures.
The camera module appears to be unchanged, and Samsung is expected to keep the smartphone with the same 50-megapixel main sensor. Thus, the ultrawide camera should continue to be 8 MP and the macro camera 2 MP, while the front sensor for selfies also has 50 MP.

Same technical specifications as the M55
Like the original device, the Galaxy M55s is expected to be powered by a mid-range Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip. The 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM are expected to remain unchanged.
This also applies to the 6.6-inch screen with Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz AMOLED panel. What could really change between the models is the 45W charging for the M55s, as the standard M55 only recharges with 25W. The battery capacity should remain at 5,000 mAh.
The Galaxy M55s has already been certified by regulatory bodies in India and an announcement is expected to happen in the next few days.
